Unable to continue working as a mental health nurse due to illness, Louisa Campbell started writing in 2016 and was soon published in a variety of print and online journals. Her first poetry pamphlet, The Happy Bus, has been published with Picaroon Poetry and her second, The Ward, will be out with Paper Swans Press in 2018. She lives in Kent with her husband, daughter and two rescued street dogs.
