Void's Voice

"Where...Are...You...?", the voice said. I have to pull myself together to not look into the void. Ever since it's behind me, my emotions have shifted. I no longer feel like I used to.

"Come...here...", it longs after me with its disgusting screeches. It was acceptable until this voice spoke. It wants me. The void wants me. "I am not coming, you hear me!? I am sick of you!", I yell in distress, hoping an attempt of fighting back would end this, knowing it will mean nothing. Everyday it becomes more difficult to live. Its pull just continuously gets stronger. I am actively losing this fight but I want to prevail. I want to live! "Take my energy, take my dreams, my body, my life! But my spirit will live on... you can't demolish me completely!", I scream furiously with my last breath.

"Capitulation...good...", it whispers. I wish this monster had never chosen me.

I give up, I can't take it anymore. You win... 

"Faster...than...last..."
