Stella Benson, who lives with her family and is struggling to make ends meet, once saw education as nothing but a waste, even after all the series of advise from her parents, that education was the key to success. Stella saw going to school, and being graded on paper, a total waste of her time.But eventually Stella's view of life changed the day her father, Benson, walked out on her, her mother, Lawretta, and siblings. Now Stella is determined to believe and prove that if truly education is the key, then at last she would come out victorious. The story follows Stella as she navigate through life struggles, facing hardship and difficulties, and finally breaking the ugly chains of poverty, and at last finding her place in the world.
