Filmmaking was my first passion, leading me to start my writing career as a screenwriter. As I ventured into other forms of storytelling, I wrote numerous short stories and eventually published my first novel. Over time, I found a deeper purpose in helping others tell their personal stories. Collaborative non-fiction has allowed me to explore topics and true events that I may never have otherwise discovered. It’s incredibly rewarding to work with people as they share their unique life experiences or stories of overcoming challenges.
Since my first novel, The Apostate (2000), I’ve had a variety of books published traditionally, both fiction and non-fiction. My collaborations include true crime books like Thrill Killers (2007) and Caught in the Act (2011), and non-fiction works like Life, With Cancer (2012) and The New Debtors’ Prison (2019).
I’ve also written novellas such as Reunion of Souls (2015) and Soul Awakening (2017), along with several short stories. My most recent release, The Goblin Pitcher, is a middle-grade book for readers ages 7-12. Currently, I’m working on developing a middle-grade book series.
I hold a B.A. in English from the University of Rhode Island and studied screenwriting at Columbia College in Hollywood, CA.
